About The Position

Veolia Group is a global leader in environmental services, specializing in water, energy, and waste management. The Water Technology Business within Veolia Group focuses on water scarcity, quality, productivity, and energy challenges. The Field Service Representative (FSR) role is within the Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division, focusing on delivering on-site technical service for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems. The FSR acts as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and industrial customers, commuting daily to work independently across diverse industries. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and building customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training.
  • A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Safety-minded approach with ability to work in various industrial environments
  • Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform precision work
  • Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer site
  • Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams per contract language
  • Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on-site interventions
  • Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
  • Support one site and provide superior communication with account manager within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery.
