About The Position

The Field Service Representative works with customers and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and meet expected quality levels. This is a key position vital to the organization's overall performance as a contractor to the builder industry. The role requires an “installer-friendly” individual who helps maintain an “installer-centric” culture, which is critical to the business and success.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or relevant field. Experience in a relative position will also be considered in lieu of college degree.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Functionality in Operations, Customer Service and Sub-Contractor Management.
  • Knowledge of flooring installation systems pertaining to single family home construction.
  • Highly collaborative and works well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe, injury/accident-free culture.
  • Provide updated status checks on the stages of home construction.
  • Manage relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Initiate corrective action to emergent issues.
  • Ensure installation quality is acceptable.
  • Primary point of contact on customer installation issues as well as accidents and mishaps on-site.
  • Work closely with GM, Director of Operations, Management team and other managers/supervisors to identify best practices in all functional areas.
