This position is directly responsible for serving the needs of our healthcare clients, inclusive of the delivery, pickup, and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment. The Field Service Representative will interface with Solventum customers daily and is responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining superior customer relationships. Daily responsibilities include the preparation of medical equipment for patient use, including disinfection, quality control testing, preparation for use, and transportation of the equipment to and from customer locations utilizing a company-provided vehicle. As a Field Service Representative I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a customer-facing or service-related field
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to work a non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours, evenings, weekends, and participation in on-call duties
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and iOS applications
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, along with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) handling experience

Responsibilities

  • Supporting customers, including patients and hospital staff, on a regular basis by providing superior customer service with customer-centric solutions
  • Executing timely and accurate order management using company-issued computers and electronic equipment for documentation and record keeping
  • Preparing best-in-class medical device equipment, including cleaning, disinfecting, quality validation, routine maintenance, disposables, and documentation processing for delivery
  • Safely operating a company vehicle to support equipment delivery, retrieval, and onsite customer service requirements
  • Tracking inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies while coordinating delivery and retrieval of products with customers
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
