About The Position
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Field Service Representative I to join our dynamic Equipment & Automation team in AB-Calgary-Operations. The Equipment & Automation team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by providing technical support in various aspects of biomedical engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for installations, maintenance, and repairs of all site equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of secondary education in Biomedical Electronics Technology (required) or a related Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Technology field at the technician or technologist level.
- Up to 2 years' experience working in the operations of a health-related organization and and/or regulated environment.
- Solid Communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal and external customers.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of biomedical safety and electrical safety codes and their application is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of internal and external resources as necessary to implement the equipment program.
- Propose program and process improvement recommendations to the direct Supervisor.
- Maintain computerized asset management database records and personal training documentation.
- Maintain the equipment, parts inventory and test equipment asset management database.
- Perform ad hoc demand maintenance and repairs as directed.
