About The Position

In this role, Field Service Representative (FSR) will use his/her in-depth knowledge and field experience to provide maintenance and sustainment support for National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) in the National Capitol Region (NCR) and is primarily responsible for check out, operation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and modification to components of the system. The daily responsibilities of the FSR include the movement and accountability of materials, equipment and tools, work site set up, and record keeping within prescribed policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have broad experience, a track record of reliability, adaptability & ingenuity, and a desire for a rewarding and challenging assignment. The FSR shall possess leadership qualities to enhance the required close coordination, either as an individual (stand-alone) or as a team member, with cognizant military customers to ensure support is provided in a professional, timely and efficient manner. The individual shall be flexible to adapt to constantly changing environments and be responsive to the customer’s maintenance support requirements. Individual shall be capable of providing support and engineering assistance at all maintenance echelons (organizational, intermediate and depot/factory). Travel CONUS (10%) travel is required, International (<10%) is possible.

Requirements

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Accomplished interpersonal skills and consummate team player.
  • Ability to understand technical manuals, drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics for the purpose of isolating and correcting malfunctions.
  • Polished written and verbal skills, and professional demeanor.
  • Independent Self-Starter and able to work reliably without supervision.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Understand primary cybersecurity policy information including DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework.
  • Must have an active U.S driver’s license.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g. CompTIA Security+) prior to starting or obtain within six months of hire date.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL of at least Class B with Air Brakes and Manual Transmission) prior to starting or obtain within six months of hire date.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 5 years of related experience, or at least 10 years of related experience without a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years with military power generation, electronics technician, weapons, radar, launcher, communication, or fire control systems. (Specifically: NASAMS, SLARAAM/AMRAAM, HAWK, PATRIOT, THAAD, Sentinel or Firefinder Radar Systems,)
  • Examples of Military jobs but not limited to 94S,14E/T/S/G/J, 12P, Navy Electronics Technicians, Electrical Power Production, and Utilities.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.

  • Participate in a rotational “on call” schedule and respond to emergencies.
  • Enforce Cyber policies and support leadership reviews.
