About The Position
MasterTech is on the search for a Field Service Mechanic in the St. Louis, MO area. Heavy Equipment Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized utility vehicles in a field service environment. Factory and OEM training is offered upon hire. Mechanics with backgrounds working on heavy trucks, heavy equipment, and or utility vehicles (sweepers, refuse/garbage trucks, snow plows, etc.) are preferred.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Degree in Diesel Technology/Diesel Technician or equivalent.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Welding/fabrication experience.
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- CDL A or CDL B
Nice To Haves
- Backgrounds working on heavy trucks, heavy equipment, and or utility vehicles (sweepers, refuse/garbage trucks, snow plows, etc.) are preferred.
