About The Position

MasterTech is seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic in the Raleigh, NC area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment. This is a Remote/Resident Field Mechanic position, where service vehicles are taken home and mechanics are dispatched remotely.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.).
• Experience working in the field.
• Able to work independently.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license in good standing required.
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks.
• Has basic to full set of hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• Education from an accredited Technical School is preferred, not required.
• CDL preferred.
