About The Position

We are seeking a Field Service Manager to lead and coordinate our field operations team. In this role, you will oversee a team of coordinators and field technicians, manage vendor relationships, handle escalated technical issues, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with company standards. You will also play a key role in vendor management, including approving invoices and quotes, supporting contracts, and sourcing new vendors as needed. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines team management, operational oversight, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. In lieu of formal education, work experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience in field service operations, vendor management, or related leadership roles.
  • Experience managing teams of coordinators, technicians, or support staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalated technical issues.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with field service management software and operational tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security standards preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of coordinators and field technicians to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.
  • Handle escalated technical issues and provide guidance to resolve field challenges.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, training, performance oversight, and sourcing new vendors when needed.
  • Approve vendor invoices and quotes and assist in facilitating contract approvals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, prioritize tasks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Utilize software tools for work order tracking, reporting, and operational oversight.
  • Conduct audits and maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
