We are seeking a skilled and adaptable IT Field Technician to provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network systems. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, servers, routers, switches, and peripheral devices such as printers and scanners. The technician will assist with maintaining LAN and WAN environments, diagnosing connectivity issues, and ensuring optimal network performance. Responsibilities include delivering technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software problems, documenting service actions, and IT inventory. The technician will also support IT security by applying updates, configuring firewalls, and ensuring antivirus protection. Additional duties include training users on basic IT procedures, managing equipment inventory, installing structured cabling, and conducting scheduled or emergency on-site visits. Strong collaboration with internal teams, clients, and vendors is essential for resolving complex technical issues and coordinating repairs or replacements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, maintain compliance with data protection standards, and manage their schedule effectively to meet service-level agreements and client expectations.
