About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on, people-focused Field Service Manager to lead our field operations in the Austin area. In this role, you will be the key link between our officers in the field, our clients, and our local leadership team. You will oversee multiple sites, support and develop your team, and make sure we deliver safe, reliable, and professional security services every day. This role is a great fit for someone with a background in private security management, military service, or a related field who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems, and building strong relationships with both employees and clients.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the Austin, Texas area.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
  • Prior private security management experience or military service experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel management experience, including coaching and performance management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistent and stable work history during the past seven (7) years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing multiple sites, accounts, or field personnel.
  • Experience with scheduling, workforce management, and client relations.
  • Knowledge of security operations, risk management, and incident response procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily field operations across assigned client locations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and post orders.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate field personnel to build a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks, and follow up on performance issues.
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients; address service concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and operational coverage to meet client needs and control labor costs.
  • Investigate incidents, prepare clear and accurate reports, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Promote and enforce safety procedures and operational standards at all sites.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts by identifying strong candidates and helping new hires succeed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using company systems and software.
  • Respond to after-hours operational issues or emergencies as needed.
