About The Position

This role involves providing field service for laser equipment, requiring proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, as well as networks. The technician will follow layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation, complete daily service reports and weekly expense reports, and maintain excellent customer relations. Responsibilities include managing the total equipment installation process at customer sites, operating and training customers on equipment applications, software, and part programming, and using Amada applications software. Regular travel within assigned territories is expected, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, as well as networks.
Ability to precisely follow layout drawings and blueprints.
Ability to communicate in the English language.
Ability to manage the total equipment installation process at Customer site.
Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter and Oscilloscope.
Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Accountable and responsible to service and support a customer through all aspects of the customer’s ownership of the machine.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience.
Ability to communicate in the Spanish language.

Responsibilities
