About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Foreman to lead rotating equipment and turbomachinery maintenance, outage, installation, inspection, and commissioning activities at customer sites throughout Texas, Louisiana, and other locations across the United States. This is a full-time field service leadership position supporting refinery, petrochemical, LNG, pipeline, power generation, and industrial customers. The successful candidate will lead field crews during equipment overhauls, inspections, installations, outage support, and emergency maintenance projects at customer facilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, expanders, and other high-speed rotating equipment, along with proven leadership experience directing millwright and mechanical crews in industrial environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of field service experience supporting turbomachinery and rotating equipment.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience leading field crews as a Foreman, Lead Millwright, Lead Mechanic, or equivalent supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
  • Experience working with equipment manufactured by one or more major OEMs such as Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Mitsubishi Power, Solar Turbines, Elliott Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Dresser-Rand, or Atlas Copco.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measurement, shaft alignment, and rotating equipment overhaul practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively to customer facilities throughout Texas, Louisiana, and the United States.
  • Must be capable of supporting extended field assignments, outages, turnarounds, and emergency response work when required.
  • Ability to successfully pass DISA drug screening requirements.
  • Ability to successfully pass DISA hair follicle testing requirements.
  • Clean and professional work history demonstrating reliability and strong attendance.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • TWIC card preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TWIC card as required by customer facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise millwrights, mechanics, and subcontractors during field service projects.
  • Establish daily work plans, assign tasks, and ensure safe and efficient project execution.
  • Maintain accountability for workmanship, schedule adherence, safety performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre-job meetings, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
  • Direct the disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, installation, and commissioning of turbomachinery and rotating equipment.
  • Provide technical leadership during maintenance and overhaul activities involving steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, expanders, and auxiliary rotating equipment.
  • Verify critical measurements, tolerances, clearances, and alignment requirements in accordance with OEM specifications.
  • Serve as the primary field contact between customers, Project Managers, Technical Advisors, and field crews.
  • Communicate project progress, technical findings, manpower requirements, and schedule updates.
  • Support outage planning, work scope development, and field execution strategies.
  • Oversee machinery installation, precision shaft alignment, mechanical fit-up, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OEM procedures, engineering drawings, and customer requirements.
  • Complete and review field reports, inspection records, check sheets, and daily progress documentation.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Verify proper utilization and accountability of company tooling and equipment at job sites.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
  • Lead permit activities and ensure compliance with customer and company safety procedures.
  • Ensure crews comply with all site-specific requirements, regulations, and safe work practices.
