About The Position
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical assistance, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our client's APCO designed and manufactured machines. This role involves supporting the maintenance of specialized mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/components, including diagnosing and repairing issues.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of facilities/machine maintenance experience.
- Associate degree or similar level.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Good understanding of electrical systems (480 volt and below, including various control voltage).
- Self-sufficient, able to work under minimal supervision, fast-thinking and pro-active.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.
- Good physical condition: ability to carry up to 50 pounds (tool box or parts) up to 50 feet.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 PSI operating pressure.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and quality.
