In this role, you will ensure reliable operation and availability of Sartorius equipment by performing on‑site and remote service activities in line with defined procedures and service standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and stable system performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
  • 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance or technical support roles involving technical equipment or systems
  • Solid ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical or software‑related issues using defined procedures
  • Good understanding of equipment functionality and service processes
  • Clear communication skills and customer‑oriented mindset to explain technical topics effectively
  • Ability to work in accordance with structured service processes and documentation requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 22 kilograms and frequently lift up to 9 kilograms

Responsibilities

  • Perform installations, calibrations and preventive maintenance on Sartorius equipment by following established service procedures and technical documentation to ensure correct functionality and operational reliability
  • Provide on‑site and remote technical support to customers by diagnosing technical issues using standard diagnostic tools and applying predefined corrective actions to restore equipment operation
  • Resolve technical issues within defined guidelines and escalation frameworks by applying approved solutions to minimize equipment downtime and service interruptions
  • Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to higher support levels by documenting symptoms, findings and actions taken to support efficient resolution
  • Maintain accurate service records by documenting service activities, findings and corrective actions in service systems to ensure transparency and traceability
  • Support service quality and compliance by adhering to service processes, safety requirements and documentation standards to ensure consistent service delivery
