About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking highly energetic candidates to fill a Field Sustainment Representative (FSR) position directly supporting the LM-STAR Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in-house and unmanned sites across the United States. This role involves guiding the successful completion of major tasks, functioning in an on-site capacity, and representing the organization as a technical contract liaison with senior external and internal personnel. The position is integral to a valued Field Engineering team, responsible for implementing annual performance verification testing for LM-STAR ATE stations. Key duties include utilizing technical and engineering data for problem analysis and troubleshooting to the lowest applicable hardware level to restore normal operational availability. The FSR will be accountable for the control and maintenance of all provided system test kit materials, including cables and adapters, as well as the proper handling and calibration/maintenance of required support equipment. Performance and maintenance records must be created and maintained accurately within the Automated Depot Information System (ADIS) database. The role also involves using ADIS to manage the ordering, receiving, and shipping of LM-STAR functional assets to and from the PBL-Supplied Depot in LMTLS, Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, energetic, and contributing team member with the ability to work independently and provide on-site support as requested.

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with troubleshooting both computer hardware and software deficiencies and to execute software rebuild/reinstall procedures.
  • Able to physically handle up to 35 pounds in removing/installing assets in the LM-STAR Test Station and Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) and Support Equipment.
  • Understand technical drawings and diagrams and be able to translate them to hardware assemblies within the test station.
  • Proficient with the use of command hand tools associated with the maintenance and repair of electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies.
  • Effective oral/written communication skills.
  • Flexible, team-player with ability to work high volume and multi-task activities within assigned time constraints.
  • Comfortable with change and willingness to adapt to change.
  • Applies discretion and judgment to complete assignments of limited scope, with work being reviewed throughout the assignment.
  • Able to travel domestic and Internationally.
  • Ability to get and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • LM-STAR, VDATS, and/or Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) experience with execution of calibration, test routines and maintenance troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all configurations of the ATE Test Station.
  • Automated Test Equipment maintenance/test integration knowledge and experience desired to include: VDATS from the US Air Force and/or civilian professional environment.
  • Understanding of Automatic Test Systems (ATS) and functional interaction between Operating System software, Test Program Set (TPS) software and hardware and test system hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the execution of annual performance verification testing for the LM-STAR ATE stations.
  • Utilize technical and engineering data to perform problem analysis and troubleshooting to the lowest applicable hardware level to restore normal operational availability.
  • Control and maintain all provided system test kit materials, including cables and adapters.
  • Properly handle and maintain all required support equipment needed to perform the job.
  • Create and maintain all performance and maintenance records within the Automated Depot Information System (ADIS) database in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Use ADIS to order, receive and ship LM-STAR functional assets from and to the PBL-Supplied Depot in LMTLS, Orlando, FL.
  • Provide on-site support as requested by the Supplier, Field Sustainment Manager or Program Management.
