Requirements

Reading and understanding of electrical/mechanical drawings and blueprints
Comfortable with using DVMs and testing electrical circuits
Experience performing software updates on equipment
Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment using factory diagnostic manuals
2-5 years hands on maintenance activity servicing the Automotive industry, HVAC, Ex-Military, or directly supporting the Semiconductor industry with a focus on TEL Dry ETCH or LAM Dry ETCH
Mechanical aptitude as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
Excellent customer interface skills
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed

Responsibilities

Complete installations, modifications and commissioning of Dry Etch semiconductor systems
Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
Maintain distributions systems, including repairs, preventive maintenance and communicating data regarding the condition of systems
Respond to routine matters as well as severe and emergency conditions
Able to react calmly during all events to apply safe and lasting resolutions
Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical faults with little to no outside support
Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repairs with other stakeholders
