About The Position

SRC is seeking a motivated individual to join our team! As a Field Service Engineer, this individual performs a variety of complex technical functions in support of the T-6 Crash Survivable Recorder program at SRC. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing on-site support to Contractor Field Teams, Assisting in Aircraft Systems Troubleshooting, Acting as a liaison between the Program Manager, Contractor Field Team, and US Government Contracting Officers Representative (COR), Inspecting install equipment, maintaining Crash Survivable Recorders (CSRs) prior to installation, Overseeing Contractor Field Teams, anticipating potential issues, working to resolve them to prevent work stoppage, Ensuring safe removal and installation of ejection seats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (An additional four years of experience as an aircraft maintainer may be used to qualify for this position lieu of a bachelor's degree)
• 5 years' experience as an aircraft maintainer
• Experience with USAF aircraft maintenance practices and procedures
• Experience utilizing technical publications
• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
• USAF egress familiarization training
• Access to US Military installations (mandatory)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the T-6 Aircraft
• Experience with aircraft equipped with ejection seats (removing and installing ejection seats is a plus)
• Experience with aircraft oxygen systems
• Aircraft Avionics experience

Responsibilities
