About The Position
As a Field Service Engineer, you are the eyes and ears of Videojet when providing service and support through customer interactions. Videojet is a world leader in the product identification market, providing in-line printing, coding and marking products, consumables, and software solutions. Videojet’s technologies play a critical role in ensuring the safety and authenticity of products sold across the globe in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial marketplaces. Requirements
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends)
- Up to two years of technical experience
- Basic computer/technical skills (can use email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word)
- Compliance with PPE, safety and registration requirements of customers
- Ability to perform and/or tolerate all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation

- Partner with customers to assess their needs, manage their expectations, and drive results

Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing care and support for our customers' equipment
- Install our products and solutions at customer locations
- Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems
- Become a trusted advisor and partner for our customers, to develop excellent relationships
- Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology
