Requirements

  • Ability to perform successfully in a demanding environment with varying workloads.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.

  • Have experience using alignment tools (micrometers/calipers/multimeters/current clamps).
  • Ability to read schematics/plumbing diagrams.
  • Chemical handling and familiarity (protective equipment and hazards).

  • Work according to strict procedures.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Clear and effective communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for installation, maintenance, and site support for state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing/wet processing equipment.
  • Evaluate and diagnose problems and make proper repairs.
  • Follow and help develop detailed procedures.
  • Work with co-workers, customer and field support in isolating and resolving problems under strict time restraints.
  • Troubleshoot and document findings.
  • Be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Adaptable to working standard day shifts, compressed schedules, or night shifts in accordance with business requirements.
  • Assist with installation and maintenance of equipment at customer facilities, under direct supervision.
  • Power up new equipment; perform mechanical setup and calibration.
  • Setup tool parameters using specs/guidelines.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repair using specified procedures.
  • Work with customer at the site to build rapport and to obtain information about equipment performance
  • Work under limited supervision, perform a variety of complex assignments using independent judgment.
  • Perform extensive troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose equipment problems and promptly make repairs/adjustments.
  • Escalate problems that cannot be resolved in a timely manner.
