About The Position

ARxIUM is a leader in the development of advanced pharmacy technology and solutions. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to provide the front line interface of ARxIUM systems to the customer. The FSE, under minimal supervision and with a broad scope of responsibility, will perform field service activities involving the installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of ARxIUM systems at a customer facility. This position requires excellent, customer-centered communication skills and involves travel requirements.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in a technical field including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, computer, biomedical.
3 - 5 years experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Conveyor and Automation experience.
Engineering and Electrical experience.
7+ years of direct field service (or equivalent) experience troubleshooting and repairing computerized electro-mechanical systems.
7+ years of experience working in a service capacity with direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Perform software and hardware preventive and corrective maintenance.
Perform software and hardware emergency break fix service calls.
Refine and validate PLC Coding.
Work with the facility to schedule appropriate downtime for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and reports, including ticket updates and closures, expenses, timesheets, and other administrative requirements.
Responsible for following up on open issues, tickets, and escalations.
Working outside normal business hours may be required to service products.
Perform other duties as required.
