About The Position

Sidel is looking for a Field Service Engineer that performs Installation, start-up, commissioning and test of the Sidel Equipment supplied to customer sites. The candidate must perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training and other after sales services of Sidel's equipment installed at customer sites. Develop a good understanding of the customer needs to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in engineering (+2) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent level of English is a must.
  • 2-3 years of experience in field activities.
  • Technical subject matter expertise on Mechanical, Automation (B&R, siemens, Elau & AB) Elec- trical or Aseptic.
  • Availability to travel up to 90 % (Including International Locations).
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces, on rooftops, and at heights, while using appropriate fall protection and safety equipment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary for operating tools, handling parts, and working with delicate components.
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold.
  • Ability to drive and travel long distances, including occasional assignments with short notice.
  • Ability to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and respirators.
  • Ability to perform duties under time constraints and in high-pressure situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialization in auto-mechanic or aseptic is a plus.
  • Spanish, Italian and/or French is an advantage.
  • Experience in the beverage/packaging industry is a plus.
