About The Position

Nilfisk is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair industrial cleaning equipment at customer sites throughout Liverpool and surrounding areas. The role involves completing repairs within service level agreements, performing follow-up calls for part installations, conducting Portable Appliance Tests (PAT), and carrying out scheduled planned maintenance. The company provides a van, mobile phone, iPad, uniform, and training. The position operates on a weekday-only schedule (office hours Mon-Fri).

Requirements

• A strong understanding of industrial cleaning equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service.
• Analyse problems and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• The ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard.
• Adapt to different work environments, working with different machines and equipment.
• Work well with others, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities

• Always follow all workplace procedures correctly, including Health and Safety rules and technician procedures.
• Repair & maintain industrial cleaning equipment across various customer sites
• Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real-time".
• Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit.
• Order parts via our central database and maintain van stock levels.
• Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to an extremely high standard.
