About The Position

Join the team as a Field Service Engineer, commissioning and optimizing advanced building automation systems for diverse clients. The role ensures seamless operation of controls, sensors, and software in mission-critical environments such as data centers and commercial facilities. This is an onsite position with a standard workday schedule, growth opportunities involving increasingly complex technical challenges, and opportunities to mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on field engineering experience in Data Center, BAS, or HVAC environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of complex automation systems.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Comfort working onsite and using ladders.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a multimeter.
• Familiarity with IP networking concepts.
• Knowledge of BACnet or Modbus protocols.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using Direct Digital Control technology.
• Serve as the primary local contact for technical issues and field operations.
• Deliver turnkey project solutions for small- to medium-scale projects.
• Ensure optimal operation of system components, including controls, sensors, and software.
• Load, configure, and test software, trends, alarms, and reports.
• Manage time effectively to support customer satisfaction and timely project completion.
• Provide detailed project documentation and communicate status updates to clients.
• Conduct site-specific training for owners and operators on complete system usage.
• Maintain strong business relationships with customers and team members.
• Perform administrative duties and support the training and development of less experienced engineers.
