About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Service Engineer responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced medical imaging systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing X-ray equipment and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in clinical environments. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to support healthcare providers by ensuring critical imaging equipment remains operational and reliable.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE SERVICING AND REPAIRING MEDICAL IMAGING EQUIPMENT
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of hands-on medical equipment repair experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred for advanced roles): Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics (especially for MRI)
  • Equivalent experience may substitute for education: Military electronics training, Manufacturer training programs

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment specific to X-ray and high-level electro-mechanical background
  • Must be a self-starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to resolve problems, think analytically, and communicate professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive, customer environments
  • Perform Scheduled preventative maintenance that includes calibrations and verifications of system specifications.
  • Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment in order to perform preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Accurately document all service activities in accordance with the Company Quality Standards.
  • Assess, calibrate, and maintain test equipment
  • Submitting field service reports timely and according to functional standards.
  • Communicate with account manager on services being provided.
  • Manage and Maintain company assets required to perform all necessary job functions.
