About The Position

As a Field Service Engineer Level 1 – Control Systems, you will be the technical service leader performing and leading MRO in the field. You’ll work independently or as part of a team, implementing processes and procedures for servicing company-supported products and equipment. You’ll also be responsible for delivering top-tier customer service—both internally and externally—while ensuring that all tasks are completed to company standards. This role requires a professional who can balance hands-on technical execution with strong problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

  • Recognized electrical or mechanical certificate from a trade school or military training institution or Associate Degree in a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
  • Ability to work under immediate supervision.
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required, Spanish a plus).
  • Customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (company pool vehicle provided).
  • Must have a valid passport, or the ability to obtain a passport.
  • Must be able to pass water survival training.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Prior customer support or service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-house and field service tasks including installation, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of supported products and equipment.
  • Provide support for TAG, training, and system-level testing.
  • Understand basic component and systems-level functionality.
  • Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed.
  • Provide TAG support to determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customer’s needs.
  • Offer basic fault-finding assistance via phone and email for low-end controls.
