Requirements

  • Relevant knowledge and experience with large scale data servers, Advance computing, storage management.
  • Has established skills to perform a range of day-to-day activities.
  • Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others in the discipline.
  • Manages own workload.
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options.
  • Follows standardized procedures and practices and receives regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
  • Uses communication skills to exchange information.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment.
  • Use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
  • Coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
  • Focus on advance servers & Computing, with relevant knowledge and experience with large scale data servers, Advance computing, storage management.
  • Perform all standard service activities through Tier I unassisted.
  • Perform standard Tier II with assistance.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance within established timeframes.
  • Complete quality repairs.
  • Respond to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
  • Participate in projects to reduce costs and increase uptime.
  • Verify operational quality of system equipment.
  • Assist senior engineers as needed.
  • Apply diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Use training and experience to identify some process, software or hardware related system problems.
  • Perform BKM’s (Best Known Methods).
  • Use knowledge management systems.
  • Follow all IP guidelines.
  • Assume responsibility for complete customer satisfaction within work area.
  • Assist in planning, communicating, and coordinating support plans with customer management.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrate safety as a value.
