Field Service Diesel Mechanic

Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment•Chesapeake, VA
•$32 - $42•Hybrid

About The Position

We’re adding Mobile Diesel Technicians to our field service team in Chesapeake, VA. If you’re a Diesel Technician who likes variety, troubleshooting, and working hands-on in the field, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work on a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Instead of spending every day in the same shop, you’ll travel to customer sites in a take-home service truck, diagnose the problem, make the repair, and help get their equipment back to work. You’ll work on everything from service cranes and roll-offs to street sweepers, dump trucks, and other specialized equipment. Some days may mean tracking down an electrical issue; others may involve hydraulic repairs, preventative maintenance, or a more involved component repair. No two service calls are exactly the same. You’ll have the support of the MATE team behind you, along with manufacturer and vendor training, while having the tools and equipment you need to get the job done in the field.
