About The Position

Capital Business Systems is a premier office technology supplier in the Midwest and Mountain States, serving clients in Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, and northwestern New Mexico for over 42 years. The company focuses on providing service-oriented support for top-of-the-line multifunction copiers, wide format printers, phone systems, and managed network solutions. This role is for a Field Service Technician to perform field diagnosis and repair of digital copiers, printers, and multifunction machines for new and long-term customers. The territory includes York, NE, and the Grand Island area, with assistance in surrounding territories as needed. The company emphasizes a healthy work/life balance and supports its technicians.

Requirements

Some knowledge and interest in computers, electronics, and digital technology
Ability to interact professionally with customers and provide solutions
Demonstrated desire and ability to learn new information
Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a current, unrestricted driver’s license
Ability to lift 75lbs and push/pull heavy equipment with assistance
Successfully passing a drug test, MVR, and criminal background check

Responsibilities

Performing field diagnosis and repair of digital copiers, printers, and multifunction machines for new and long-term customers
Diagnosing and repairing hardware issues with copiers and printers in professional office environments
Working within a team of supportive professionals
Interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner
Driving a company-provided vehicle stocked with the tools and parts required to be effective at your job
Putting your technology interests and problem-solving skills to use every day
