Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required; Associates college degree or technical school preferred, or at least two (2) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic experience with calibration and/or measuring instrumentation.
  • Commercial or Military experience acceptable
  • Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and statistics
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands including overtime work when needed
  • Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds
  • Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
  • Access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).   • Working knowledge and competency in mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations with instruments / tools such as: Calipers, micrometers, Indicators, crimpers, Torque drivers, torque wrenches, torque analyzers, Pressure gauges, temperature equipment, force equipment

Responsibilities

  • Provide calibration services, which can include measurement, temperature, torque, pressure, etc.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
  • Maintain calibration standards
  • Perform calibration work within a laboratory setting
  • Schedule/send out items for calibration and/or repair
  • Fulfill duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with Company requirements and standards
  • Other duties as assigned
