The Automation Technician is responsible for designing and programming new Automation systems as well as supporting existing systems utilizing the latest technologies and trends in Oil & Gas market. Candidate must have a sound working relationship with all management, supervisory positions, foremen, and electricians in their designated area. Job Brief We are looking for a self-starter Field service technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability. As a field service technician you will be responsible for response to customer calls for repairs on installed drives, installation and commissioning of new drives, and troubleshooting of the pumping application as a whole to resolve operational disruptions. This means being on call to include nights, holidays and weekends. The job requires you to work with several departments within the company to gather all details and materials needed to get the job done (Engineering for software and drawings, Aftermarket for parts, Tech Support for case details and logistics for tracking information) so communication is important. As a field service tech driving is part of the job. You will need to work in adverse climates such as summer heat, winter cold and H2S environments. Proper Personal Protective Equipment will be required at all times.
