About The Position

You’ll be the on-the-go expert ensuring customers never run out of their favorites while keeping brewers clean, calibrated, and ready to pour. When routes need coverage, you step in, keep the schedule tight, and elevate every stop.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Must be able to complete a successful DOT physical.
  • Clean, strong driving record.
  • Mechanical aptitude with company hardware and software.
  • Accurate assessment of customer needs; strong communication and active listening.
  • Alignment with business objectives; sound commercial judgment.
  • Proactive identification of issues and opportunities.
  • Self-awareness and ability to build rapport and cooperative relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Route delivery experience preferred; customer service background ideal.
  • Foodservice experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Cover routes for relief: deliver, replenish, and rotate all beverage station products.
  • Sell and deliver coffee, tea, and related items to assigned accounts.
  • Guarantee every customer on the daily schedule receives required delivery and service.
  • Execute at least one daily CQC (Cup Quality Check); maintain equipment cleanliness and function.
  • Identify and close distribution gaps; enable seasonal/LTO promotions and pricing actions.
  • Own daily paperwork: invoices, inventory counts, and collections while on route.
  • Raise customer issues to the ASM (Area Sales Manager) quickly and ensure satisfaction.
  • Report inefficiencies, dissatisfaction, or opportunities discovered during route relief.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts, warehouse tasks, and customer initiatives as assigned.
  • Learn and perform basic equipment adjustments and minor fixes.
  • Follow The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell and make additional sales calls when time permits.
  • Support warehouse operations, accounts receivable collections, and customer service as needed.
