About The Position

The FIELD SALES SPECIALIST - RHODE ISLAND, EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS, AND CAPE COD manages an established territory and existing customer base, driving sales growth, market share, and profitability across Pet, Equine, Farm & Home, Lawn & Garden, and Wild Bird product lines. This role exists to strengthen customer relationships, expand opportunities within the territory, and consistently deliver against sales objectives. Key responsibilities include maintaining regular face-to-face customer contact, presenting products and promotions, tracking territory activity in CRM, sharing competitive updates, coordinating with vendor representatives, and participating in sales meetings and trade shows.

Requirements

  • B2B field sales and territory management experience
  • Strong persuasive selling and presentation skills
  • Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal ability
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and willingness to travel (including occasional overnights)
