About The Position

The Field Sales Representative is a dynamic, high-energy sales professional responsible for driving business growth across multiple territories through proactive lead generation, strategic networking, and client relationship management. Splitting time between strategic field outreach (60%) and remote/office operations (40%), this role focuses on securing new accounts, activating dormant clients, and building robust community partnerships—such as recruiting and revenue pipelines with local colleges. Operating with a client-centric mindset, the ideal candidate leverages strong cold-calling, territory management, and value-added selling techniques to hit weekly outreach goals while championing the company’s core CART values (Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork).

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of demonstrated sales success.
  • Strong cold-calling and networking skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client meetings.
  • Proficiency in persuasion techniques and value-added selling methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients via phone and in-person meetings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office.
  • Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Completion of Behavioral Assessment through the Predictive Index.
  • Successful completion of company background check and drug screen.

  • Territory management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to drive retention and repeat business.
  • Create and develop relationships with local colleges for recruitment and revenue generation purposes.
  • Attend job fairs.
  • Seek new sales opportunities through various channels, including networking events, cold calls, and targeted emails.
  • Research and identify key decision-makers within prospective client organizations to generate interest and foster relationships.
  • Foster relationships with industry professionals through networking events.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow and support clients within designated account segments.
  • Educate clients about our company and keep them informed of new products and industry trends.
  • Maintain detailed reports on field activity and client feedback.
  • Reach out to a minimum of 10 new or dormant accounts each week to drive business growth.

  • Perform additional duties as required.
