About The Position

Are you a high-energy sales professional who enjoys engaging customers, building brand awareness, and driving results in a retail environment? As a Verizon Value Field Sales Representative, you will serve as the in-store brand ambassador for a major national carrier across assigned retail locations. In this customer-facing retail sales role, you will promote product awareness, educate shoppers on wireless devices, plans, and promotions, and convert conversations into sales by delivering confident, consultative, and solution-oriented experiences. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in field sales, wireless sales, retail sales, brand advocacy, and/or customer engagement. Availability July 6th - December 31, 2026 (possible of an extension) 30 hours/week - Thursday to Sunday availability Wage $20/hour + a bonus compensation element

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year retail or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort using digital tools and reporting platforms
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage retail customers to uncover needs, identify purchasing intent, and create sales opportunities
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations of wireless devices, service plans, and current promotions
  • Clearly explain pricing, features, and value propositions to support informed customer purchase decisions
  • Close sales and guide customers through the purchase process with a consultative, service-oriented approach
  • Build strong working relationships with store leadership and associates to support in-store execution and sales success
  • Coach and influence store teams to strengthen brand advocacy and support sell-through of telecommunication products
  • Maintain merchandising, signage, and display standards to ensure strong brand presentation in assigned locations
  • Track performance, customer interactions, and key performance indicators using required reporting tools and systems
  • Share market insights, customer feedback, and competitive activity to help inform program performance and field strategy
