About The Position

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers. If you excel in outside sales and want to grow with a leading company, we want to hear from you! This opportunity provides: Sales Representatives are paid a weekly salary of $500 during and after training. After training, they are eligible for 5% of total sales after $15,000 in weekly qualified sales and an additional 2% of total sales after $25,000 in qualified sales per week PLUS mileage reimbursement. All leads provided, no cold calls. Flexible work schedules Top industry benefits. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
  • Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Must be able to use handheld telecommunication devices and understand commercial software packages such as Word and Excel.
  • You will also use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.

Nice To Haves

  • Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
  • Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement.
  • Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
  • Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
  • Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.
  • Collect monetary payment and move on to the next service call.
  • Direct interaction with vulnerable populations such as children or elderly.
  • Extensive driving to customer in a timely and professional manner.
  • Entering customers’ residence providing trustworthy service while solving the problem.
