About The Position
Roto-Rooter, North America's largest plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services provider, is seeking Field Sales Representatives for its Excavation department. This role offers sales professionals the chance to pursue pre-qualified leads generated by field service technicians and call centers. The company operates numerous branches and franchise locations across the U.S. and Canada, serving a significant portion of the population. This is an opportunity for individuals who excel in outside sales and are looking for growth within a leading company.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
- Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Proficiency in using handheld telecommunication devices.
- Understanding of commercial software packages such as Word and Excel.
- Ability to use Roto-Rooter computer systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
- Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services; however, all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
Nice To Haves
- Plumbing experience is not necessary or required.
Responsibilities
- Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage requiring repair or replacement.
- Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
- Leverage the established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
- Act as a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.
