About The Position

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands Company, is the largest team sporting goods equipment and apparel distributor in the United States with over 50 years of experience. Our mission is to save coaches and administrators time off the field so they can focus on impacting young lives. This full-time, hybrid role requires at least 2-5 days per week in the territory, operating between a home office, schools, communities, and events. The position is field-based and requires the candidate to reside in or near Las Vegas, Nevada, to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities. Working hours may vary, and evenings and weekends may be required. Travel is primarily local to schools and organizations within the territory, with occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel expected.

Requirements

Demonstrate a high level of self-direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
Possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiently prioritize and manage tasks, demonstrating strong time management skills.
Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and CRM.
Cultivate an in-home office environment that is distraction-free.
3+ years' business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) OR coaching/sports-related background.
Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Optimize full cycle sales in the assigned territory and service customers.
Represent Varsity Brands by demonstrating company core values and upholding the highest ethical standards.
Provide best-in-class, consultative customer service to coaches, aiming to make their lives easier.
Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
Handle rejection and demonstrate persistence to turn challenges into opportunities.
Navigate multiple functions within the company’s CRM, including prospecting, account management, and activity tracking.
Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
Utilize data-driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
Manage account lists and travel on location within the assigned territory.
