Job Description Engage with fuel brands, distributors, individual merchants to negotiate discounts and support sales initiatives . Utilize and perform data analysis and reporting tools to track progress, identify key performance targets, and support strategic decision-making. Collaborate across the Merchant team, demonstrating flexibility to cross-train and adapt to shifting priorities. Strong relationship management skills are essential, with experience in customer or prospect-facing roles preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, including the ability to sort and analyze data, generate reports, and build pivot tables. Payment Consultant however it is a mix of sales and negotiations, relationship management, operation support, heavy data analysis and reporting and business strategy surrounding fuel merchants, the Voyager Network, Fleet clients and discounts.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five or more years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to travel (local and regional, some national)
  • Strong relationship management skills are essential, with experience in customer or prospect-facing roles preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, including the ability to sort and analyze data, generate reports, and build pivot tables.

  • Thorough knowledge of unit payment products
  • Experience with Transportation, Fuel, or Corporate card products and services is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
  • Strong marketing, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions
