About The Position

A Field Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the sales activities for the communities which have an impact on the lives of our residents on a daily basis. This role will support the PMMA communities in Kansas and Missouri by covering vacant Sales positions at assigned communities as well as additional training for current Sales staff as needed. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with potential residents and their families to include tours, phone calls, and home visits with continuous follow up as well as outreach business development. Must be an expert at senior living sales, prospect centered selling principles, outreach/business development and executing sales and marketing plans in various markets - both urban and rural. Must have a passion to work with older adults and be able to manage time effectively. Collaborate with other team members and home office initiatives to execute our sales plan to achieve occupancy goals. Participates with the community leadership team to promote the mission to provide senior services that are guided by Christian values. Must be proficient in using a CRM and documenting all sales activities. The employee values the Community as the residents' home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and is a Home Office position. The position will require traveling with overnight stays along with utilizing a company vehicle. The ideal candidate will have the ability to travel 90% of the time to communities in Kansas and Missouri. Assignments and travel may be subject to change with little notice.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing / related field or equivalent sales experience required.
  • Proficient computer skills in CRM, Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize our leads software to record all sales activity.
  • Must function independently when necessary, demonstrating flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, staff and support agencies.
  • Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures that are necessary for achieving sales goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum five years of experience in marketing / sales in a senior living environment preferred.
