This role supports local territory efforts to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electromechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment. Products include ASSA ABLOY WiFi locks, PoE locks, Integrated Wiegand locks and strikes, and Aperio wireless solutions. You will be the territory’s “go-to” expert competent in the applications, technology, installation, and deployment of all ASSA ABLOY EM and EAC product/system/solution offerings. Requirements

  • Ability to travel (up to 80% within the assigned territory) and meet to the requirements of customers.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Certify integrators’ sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training, including ongoing assessments and development of their skills.
  • Train and support the channel, influencers, and other internal personnel.
  • Facilitate deployments of product test beds at certified integrator’s facilities, trial installations at select end user locations, and initial installations with live integration into EAC systems.
  • Collaborate and develop plans for increasing sales in the assigned territory.
  • Develop wiring diagrams and represent ASSA ABLOY in installation meetings with electrical contractors and other stakeholders, conduct site surveys and audits with integrators, and check on implemented solutions.
  • Strategize with team to win the highest overall product content.
  • Troubleshoot EM and EAC product-related issues and make operational, preferably in collaboration with the integrator.
