About The Position

Code Red Safety is seeking a Field Safety Specialist to provide support for a major construction project in Pampa, TX. This position is a 1099 independent contract role, beginning as soon as possible. The role involves working 40 hours per week on a day shift, with the contract anticipated to extend through December. Due to the nature of the role and the absence of per diem, only local candidates will be considered.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of direct safety oversight experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant construction experience.
• Possession of one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CSSS, CSST, CSHO, or a similar certification.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight for a large construction project.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures on site.
