About The Position

The Construction Field Safety Representative will provide on-site safety support for roofing, scaffolding, coatings, insulation, and painting operations at large commercial and industrial facilities. This opportunity begins with a one-week training program designed to develop safety professionals who understand the client's culture, field expectations, and onsite operational standards. Candidates selected for future deployment will support projects nationwide, including automotive plants, warehouse facilities, and large industrial sites. The client specializes in roofing restoration systems, scaffold operations, insulation, coatings, and industrial maintenance work across active commercial and industrial environments.

Requirements

  • OSHA 30
  • 1-3 years of construction safety experience
  • Experience working around roofing, scaffolding, aerial lifts, or working at heights on commercial or industrial construction sites
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to engage field teams and gain workforce buy-in
  • Professionalism and adaptability in dynamic construction environments
  • Strong organizational and observational skills
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
  • Knowledge of roofing safety, scaffolding, fall protection, and aerial lift operations
  • Understanding of commercial and industrial construction safety standards
  • Ability to effectively communicate safety expectations while maintaining positive field relationships

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite safety oversight for roofing, scaffold, coatings, insulation, and related construction activities
  • Conduct routine site safety inspections and hazard assessments
  • Support OSHA compliance and site-specific safety requirements
  • Monitor work-at-height activities, scaffold safety, and aerial lift operations
  • Build positive working relationships with field personnel, subcontractors, general contractors, and ownership representatives
  • Coach crews on safe work practices and proactive hazard recognition
  • Assist with incident prevention, reporting, and corrective actions
  • Maintain daily safety documentation and field observations
  • Support client-specific safety expectations and cultural initiatives onsite
  • Perform additional EHS-related duties as assigned

Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $49/hr
  • Per Diem: $125/day (7 days/week during training)
  • Completion Bonus: $150/month
  • Mileage reimbursed at $0.725/mile from home base (Max $1,500) for deployed projects
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly
