About The Position
The Construction Safety Manager is a critical position within our field operations at United Contractor Services. This role is responsible for ensuring that every person on our job sites, including employees and subcontractors, is trained, informed, and protected. The position requires staying ahead of federal and state regulations, running proactive training programs, and building a safety-first culture that teams and clients can rely on. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented, reliable, and deeply committed to the wellbeing of their colleagues.
Requirements
- 4 or more years of safety management experience in a construction environment.
- OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications in good standing.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish fluency is required.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs. independently is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example through consistent, high-quality safety leadership across all project sites.
- Oversee the daily rollout and enforcement of all active safety programs.
- Facilitate onsite training for crews and subcontractors.
- Plan and run safety workshops on an ongoing basis.
