About The Position

The Field Resource Foreman is responsible for conducting daily onsite safety briefs, ensuring all project communication is completed, and managing the efficient execution of projects. This role involves overseeing crew performance, managing inventory, ensuring pricing accuracy for projects, and documenting the performance of Field Resource Representatives. The Foreman will also conduct end-of-day/project walkthroughs to ensure quality repairs and maintain professional standards for the field team.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years' experience in the commercial roofing industry.
  • Thorough familiarity with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems.
  • Thorough familiarity with metal and other steep slope roofing systems and how to properly repair them.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily onsite safety briefs prior to the start of WTI projects.
  • Inspect surroundings, equipment, and tools to identify and discuss safety concerns.
  • Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to Supervisors.
  • Ensure all project communication is completed before starting any WTI project, including communication with Sales Rep, WTI crew members, customers, and WTI Supervisors.
  • Manage crew start and end times and production rates.
  • Ensure tools and materials are available for safe and efficient project completion.
  • Complete projects per the scope of work or specification.
  • Conduct end-of-day and/or end-of-project walkthroughs to ensure quality repairs.
  • Send before and after pictures to the Sales Rep.
  • Submit daily project status information, including detailed work performed, materials consumed, and supplies purchases.
  • Ensure WTI Field Reps maintain professional appearance and customer interaction.
  • Order, track, and monitor inventory and ensure quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted.
  • Review field service projects over $5,000 for pricing accuracy.
  • Submit projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor.
  • Manage, monitor, and document performance of Field Resource Reps and take corrective measures.
  • Consult with WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
  • Perform any other duty or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.
