About The Position

The Field Resource Foreman is responsible for conducting daily onsite safety briefs, ensuring project communication, managing crew and production, overseeing project completion, and maintaining inventory. This role also involves managing and documenting the performance of Field Resource Representatives and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and repair techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years’ experience in the commercial roofing industry.
  • Thorough familiarity with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems.
  • Thorough familiarity with metal and other steep slope roofing systems and how to properly repair them.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily onsite safety briefs, including inspecting surroundings, equipment, and tools, and completing Daily Hazard Analysis forms.
  • Ensure all project communication is completed, including coordination with Sales Reps, WTI crew members, customers, and WTI Supervisors.
  • Manage crew start and end times, production rates, and ensure availability of tools and materials for efficient and safe project completion.
  • Complete end-of-day and end-of-project walk-throughs to ensure quality repairs and address any issues before leaving the job site.
  • Send before and after pictures to the Sales Rep and provide daily updates on project status, including detailed work performed, materials consumed, and supplies purchased.
  • Ensure Field Resource Reps maintain a professional appearance and customer interaction.
  • Order, track, and monitor inventory, and complete quarterly cycle counts.
  • Review field service projects over $5,000 for pricing accuracy.
  • Submit projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor before submitting to the Sales Rep or customer.
  • Manage, monitor, and document performance of Field Resource Reps, and take corrective measures for employee and work-related issues, consulting with supervisors and HR as needed.
  • Perform any other duty or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.
