About The Position

Field Property Technicians visit single-family rental homes in the Center/Houston, Texas area to document property conditions for property managers. They take detailed photos, note observed issues, and provide professional, courteous service while on-site. Technicians often work independently in the field, following company guidelines and procedures, with team support available. No prior experience is required; hands-on field training is provided.

The role may also involve light maintenance, such as carrying and using ladders, replacing smoke alarm batteries and air filters, and fixing door stops. Technicians must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and using an iPad or iPhone for reporting and photography.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Must be listed as an insured driver on the vehicle’s insurance policy.
• Must have an insured vehicle for work use.
• Must be able to transport a 4-foot ladder in the vehicle.
• Comfortable using ladders and basic tools.
• Willingness to drive up to 30 miles from the applicant’s zip code.
• Strong communication skills, including responsiveness and consistent communication throughout the workday.
• Ability to use iPads or iPhones for reporting and photos.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, friendly, professional, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Visit single-family homes to document property conditions.
• Take detailed photos and provide notes about observed issues.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service when on-site.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling property information.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as needed, including carrying and using ladders, replacing smoke alarm batteries and air filters, and fixing door stops.
• Work independently while following company guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain consistent communication with the company throughout the workday.
