Field Reimbursement Manager, East (US)

Smith+NephewMinneapolis, MN
$130,000 - $150,000Remote

About The Position

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) will work alongside US commercial teams to educate sales teams and engage directly with providers and payers to overcome barriers to the adoption of Smith+Nephew ENT surgical technologies. The FRM will educate and support the integration of the product into physician offices, ambulatory surgical centers, and other care settings while providing support on reimbursement-related processes to optimize coverage and payment. The FRM will be expected to identify novel funding and contracting options to secure more widespread adoption of Smith+Nephew technologies. The initial focus will be supporting the expansion of innovative technology for tympanostomy procedures, one of the highest-volume surgical procedures in the United States. The medical device was designed to allow tympanostomy procedures to be conducted under local anesthetic in a physician's office. This technology has the potential to reduce the trauma associated with tube surgery for patients and their careers while shifting treatment to a lower acuity site of care, which should provide economic benefits for payers and providers.
