Functions as an advocate for and a resource to customers and their professional organizations in the areas of reimbursement and managed care. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and insurance/managed care organizations, including physician offices and manufacturer representatives, to ensure a successful reimbursement program. Responsible for managing an assigned territory focused on supporting reimbursement and patient services by providing assistance with patient reimbursement challenges for a specific drug and educating the office on payer landscape and services. Contributes to design and implementation of the company's product reimbursement program and policies for products being used in a medical or managed care environment. Conducts analytical research and provides expertise on pricing/reimbursement and market access for new and existing products. Works closely with field sales staff and provides training on relevant reimbursement issues.
