About The Position

The Field Reimbursement Manager provides reimbursement education and day-to-day support to eye care practices, billing teams, administrators, and internal field partners within an assigned territory. The role explains approved information about coding, coverage, documentation, claims submission, payment pathways, and reimbursement processes, while avoiding legal advice, guarantees of coverage or payment, and direction of providers’ clinical or billing decisions. At least two years of experience in a related healthcare or reimbursement setting is required. The role requires domestic travel of up to 30%, depending on business and territory needs, and involves extended sitting and computer work, frequent telephone and virtual interactions, and transporting standard business materials and equipment.
