This role involves providing direct skilled client care, administering medication, working collaboratively with the team to help meet positive client care outcomes, monitoring patient's condition and notifying appropriate personnel of any changes, providing services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill, and assuring proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. The position is for a 12-hour case in Opa Locka, involving trach-dependent, G-tube dependent, Peg Tube, and bedbound patients, with availability for days and nights, weekdays and weekends, and overnight shifts.
Requirements
- 1 year Wound Care experience
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking)
- Ability to work Overnight Shifts
- Current and unrestricted Florida RN license
- 1 year experience
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Reliable car / auto insurance
- Clean background and criminal record
- Completion of 12 Hours of In-Services including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, FL Laws and Rules, Alzheimer's (approved by DOEA), Domestic Violence and Medical Errors
- Level II AHCA Background
- Available to work Weekends
- BLS Certification
